Certified Equine Rehab Therapist Course - Online & Onsite with Summer Terry
Your future in the equine rehab industry starts here. This course will teach you all the basics it takes to operate a rehab facility. You’ll learn how to safely use equipment, decide what types of equipment will work best for your facility, and how to develop a treatment plan for each horse. This course is broken down into two sections to make learning fun and easy. The first section is a compilation of online videos and the second section is onsite training at Superior Therapy LLC. The onsite training will be totally hands-on training. You’ll learn to assess horses, work with veterinarians, come up with a treatment plan, and track progress on real in-treatment horses. You will be treading horses under our direction as well as learning how to train new horses to the AquaPacer. We will also teach you our exercises and stretches used to rebuild weak areas and return horses to performance. This course is jam packed full of experience-based training material. We’ve done the trial, error, and hard work for you… Now let us teach you how to help improve the lives of horses. This is a groundbreaking therapy course for the horse owner, and the first certification course of its kind. We are going to teach you how to think like a therapist and take care of your own horses without all the expensive equipment. We are taking the old school approach to rehab! This course is packed full of secrets the pros all keep to themselves. This course is broken down into two sections to make learning fun and easy. The first section is a compilation of online videos and the second section is onsite training at Superior Therapy LLC. The onsite training will be totally hands-on training. You’ll learn how conformation plays a critical role in preventing injuries, how to select a horse, and maintain your athlete. Looking for a side hustle that also helps horses? You can use this certification to build a business of taking care of horses for others. You’ll learn how to do specialty leg wraps, just like they do at veterinary clinics. We will make sure that you have confidence and training to know you are doing things correctly. We will also cover massage techniques, treating issues you’ll face on the road, and exercises that will treat and prevent weakness. You’ll have the skills to help others take care of their horses, so you rehab horses in your own barn or on the road. Add a Kid Under 18 to Come Observe Rehab Therapist or Care Specialist Courses
We believe in the importance of educating future generations of horsemen. We cannot offer a certification to anyone under the age of 18, but we can allow interested kids to come observe at our courses and participate in activities appropriate for their experience level. Plus they will have access to all the video content including the Kids Corral section with videos geared towards our younger learners. This will be a great experience for you to learn with your child and both expand your skill set.

Thank you for buying our courses. We want to make sure that our users have a rewarding experience while they are discovering information, assessing, and purchasing our training courses, whether it may be for online or hands on training courses.
As with any online purchase experience, the below are the terms and conditions that govern the Refund Policy. When you buy a training course on the Association of Certified Equine Therapies website you agree to our Privacy Policy, Terms of Use and the points below.
Cancellation & Refunds: Online Training

If the cancellation is done by the delegate within 48 hours of subscribing, 5% will be deducted as administration fee.

If the cancellation is done by the delegate after 48 hours of subscribing no refund will be made.

No refund will be made to the delegate after 48 hours of subscribing to the course.
Cancellation & Refunds: Hands on Training
Association of Certified Equine Therapies, reserves the right to postpone/cancel an event, or change the location of an event because of insufficient enrollments, instructor illness or force-majeure events (like floods, earthquakes, political instability, etc.)

In the case ACET cancels an event for reasons out of our control, every effort will be made to notify the delegate as soon as possible.

It is the responsibility of the delegate to secure their position in the course dates and to attend the required hours. For instances that the delegate cannot complete the required hours, it is their responsibility to attend a future course to complete the necessary requirements.

If a cancellation is done by a delegate 7 days or less, prior to the event, it will be the delegate's responsibility to reschedule their class based on the availability of future courses.
Note: All refunds will be processed within 30 days of receipt of the refund requests
ACET is not responsible for transportation, lodging, or meals. Students are responsible for their own accommodations.
Superior Therapy LLC is not responsible for accidents, injuries, or death. By agreeing to terms and conditions, you are releasing Superior Therapy LLC, its owners, and staff from all responsibility should an accident occur.
You will be working with real-life customer horses that are in the care of Superior Therapy LLC. By agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are agreeing to nondisclosure of injuries, owners, and conditions treated in this barn. We are a teaching facility, but we do not allow social media posts, videos, or spreading of information on any horse while it is in our barn other than what is produced by Superior Therapy LLC or its customers. Our customers have rights just as our students do.
By agreeing to terms and conditions, you agree not to reprint, repost, or share any testing information, criteria, or answers.
Students will be graded on a point scale determined by the course instructor. Final grade will be an accumulation of textbook and video portions as well as task scores of onsite activities. Students will be allowed two attempts to pass before having to retake and repay for the course.
