Therapy Sessions:
Farm Calls, Haul-ins, & Private Clinics
👉 If your horse looks sound but doesn’t feel right, this is for you.
I’m often called in when performance issues, soreness, or inconsistency don’t show up clearly on exams, but something still feels off. These cases are my specialty to address through fascial work, acupressure and bodywork.
My sessions are designed to:
▪️Identify root cause instead of chasing symptoms
▪️Address compensation, restriction, and imbalance
▪️Improve mobility, nerve function, & movement
▪️Create lasting change... Not quick fixes
What’s included 👇
🔸Full-body assessment of posture, muscle balance, and movement
🔸Bodywork to release restriction and restore function & DIY techniques for you
🔸 Corrective Exercises to reinforce changes and reduce soreness
🔸Stretching session & instruction for you
🔸 Homework protocol for continued improvement
🔸 Education throughout the session so you understand what you’re seeing & feeling
Most owners notice immediate benefits with even better results after 30 days and improved performance by 90 days.

Let me step you through how my therapy sessions are different...
➡️ I believe in looking at the horse as a whole and working through the layers to get to the root cause of the problem. You can spend a lot of time and money chasing secondary symptoms. The buck stops here. Let's get to the root cause of weakness and pain. I don't do quick-fix bandaids, so if that's what you're looking for, I'm probably not the therapist for you.
➡️ After we finish a complete assessment of the horse, I move on to the bodywork portion of the session. This gets my first layer of restriction released from the body. I specialize in a combination of trigger point, cross-fiber, acupressure, and rocking techniques to get through the layers and create better nerve function and mobility. I also encourage you to follow along with me as I explain muscle patterns I'm seeing and how they affect performance and movement. I will also show you some DIY bodywork techniques so that you can continue working on your horse.
➡️ Bonus: To save teaching time I give you a coupon code that allows you free access to my Horse Owner's Guide: How to use a Massage Gun so you can continue learning how to work on your horse. ($150 value)
➡️ Next we use movement to work through any restriction left over that I couldn't alleviate through bodywork. These exercises also help us assess how your horse uses their body in motion. Movement also helps the body work through released toxins and stagnant blood following bodywork, and that helps prevent soreness from the session. Once you understand how to do the exercises with your horse then you can continue our set protocol and these fundamental exercises become part of your fitness routine to keep stabilizing muscle strong.
➡️ These simple exercises are great for correcting poor performance complaints like: won't change leads, floats out on turns, won't turn, no power in the takeoff, shortened stride...
➡️ Then we finish the session with stretches that help mobilize the whole body. This breaks through the last of the restriction that is left after bodywork and movement. By the time we get to this point, we have made huge changes in posture and have a clear plan and goal in place for you to continue with. I always encourage my owners to video the stretches on their horse in case we have to modify stretches for the individual needs of that horse.
➡️ The future is in your hands! You will have the tools to continue improving your horse. Most of my customers report a big improvement after 30 days and even better performance after 90 days. My goal isn't to create a better athlete for tomorrow... It's to improve the horse for life.
🔸 These sessions last around 2 hours for one horse. I also make veterinary, farrier, and nutrition recommendations if I see the need. What I do isn't a replacement for veterinary care and sometimes it takes a village of people working together to help our equine athletes. But I can help sort through the layers of muscle compensation, "off" patterns in movement, and restricted fascia to get a much clearer idea of what's going on inside your horse.
🔸 These sessions become a mini therapy clinic, because of the amount of information you will get. I can simplify what I'm seeing so even a novice owner will understand. I bring my travel library of books and visual aids so we can see what's going on in your horse's body. I will find a teaching style that fits the way you learn. I'm not afraid to look silly and imitate how your horse is moving and I have an analogy for everything! Everyone is capable of learning valuable information.
