What Kind of Bodyworker are You?

This is probably the most common question I get asked. If I'm being honest, I'm usually the "Last Resort Call" when multiple vet appointments or therapy appointments have failed. 🤣 I don't mind though and I don't take it as an insult and I don't mind working with a lengthy history of injury or poor performance.

🔸 I just want to help improve the lives of horses. That's why I do what I do. Most of my experience is with complex, difficult cases.

Let me step you through how my therapy sessions are different...

➡️ I believe in looking at the horse as a whole and working through the layers to get to the root cause of the problem. You can spend a lot of time and money chasing secondary symptoms. The buck stops here. Let's get to the root cause of weakness and pain. I don't do quick-fix band-aids, so if that's what you're looking for, I'm probably not the therapist for you.

➡️ I use a mixed modality set of techniques that blend a holistic Eastern Medicine approach with a science-backed Western Medicine approach. This allows me to honor my holistic background, but still work alongside veterinarians and surgeons. I want to be a part of your professional team, so I'm happy to work with your vet, farrier, dentist, and other therapy professionals that help maintain your horse.

➡️ Bodywork is just one part of the solution. The corrective exercise and stretching protocols that get taught to every owner help to create lasting changes that will help progress their equine athlete. I'm always in education mode, so if I can give you some DIY techniques and a solid plan of action... The longevity of results will be in your hands. And I'll be there to support you the whole way.

➡️ I prefer to work with you and your horse in person, but I also offer online assessments for people outside of my travel areas. You can find out more information on both by clicking the links.
